SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL

Logo SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL

A comprehensive programme addressed to primary and secondary school students, their parents and teachers, intended to help prevent suicidal behaviours. Within the framework of the programme, teachers, educators, parents and students develop relevant knowledge and skills, and are provided with appropriate tools, for the care of the mental well-being of children and adolescents. The programme teaches the participants about the best ways to support young people in crisis, where to look for assistance and how to provide it.

The workshops and educational activities have been taking place in 5 selected facilities as part of the pilot stage of this project. The schools which take advantage of the full package offered under the programme will receive the “Supportive School” Certificate.
